Quick No-Bake Halloween Snacks + Treats

It’s finally October meaning Halloween is right around the corner! Whether you are hosting a huge Halloween extravaganza, throwing together a last-minute party, or just want to ring in the Halloween spirit by meal-prepping a few themed snacks, we have some awesome ideas for you! Better yet, these recipes require no oven and minimal prep time. Talk about quick and easy!

Here is a list of some of our favorites:

  • Pumpkin Pie Dip

Perfect for pumpkin lovers, this dip is extremely easy to make and store for any event, or as just a sweet snack to keep in your fridge!

Ingredients:

  • 1 Package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups Powdered sugar
  • 1 cup Canned pumpkin
  • 1/2 cup Sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon Pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground ginger
  • Cookies or crackers of your choice

Instructions:

  1.  Beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  2. Beat in pumpkin, sour cream and spices until blended.
  3.  Transfer to a bowl; serve with gingersnaps, graham crackers, or another cracker of your choice!

  • Candy Corn Fruit Parfait

This healthier sweet treat is easy to store and even easier to make, making it a perfect appetizer or on-the-go snack!

Ingredients:

  • Pineapple Chunks
  • Mandarin Oranges
  • Whipped Cream
  • Candy Corn
  • Clear plastic cups or small mason jars

Instructions:

  1. Place pineapple chunks at the bottom of each cup.
  2.  Top pineapple with a layer of mandarin oranges.
  3. Top oranges with whipped cream and one candy corn.

  • Tangerine Pumpkins and Banana Ghosts

This snack is perfect for someone who doesn’t necessarily have a huge gathering to plan for but wants some cute tiny treats to ring in the spirit.  It’s a  fun way to get your fruit and veggies in too!

Ingredients:
  • Bananas
  • Chocolate chips, regular sized and/or mini
  • Tangerines
  • Stalk celery

Instructions:

  1.  Peel the bananas and cut them in half. Place the cut side down so the banana halves stand up.
  2. Use small chocolate chips to make ghost eyes and large chocolate chips to make ghost mouths.
  3. Peel the tangerines.
  4.  Cut the celery lengthwise into thirds and then across into 1/2 inch pieces. Insert the celery pieces the tops of the peeled tangerines to resemble pumpkins and serve.

  • Zombie Finger Cheese Sticks

Who doesn’t love a little cheese? These zombie fingers look creepy but taste delicious, and are so simple to throw together last minute.

Ingredients:

  • String cheese sticks
  • Cream cheese
  • Red bell and green bell peppers

Instructions:

  1. Cut red and green bell peppers into fingernail-shaped squares.
  2. Slice each string cheese stick in half.
  3. Attach bell peppers to uncut end of string cheese using a tiny dab of cream cheese as glue.
  4. Use back of butter knife to add knuckle lines. Serve!

Chips and Guac is always a party favorite and this adorable Frankstein-themed dish is the perfect savory snack for any Halloween or Fall gathering.

Ingredients:
  • 3 Avocados - peeled, pitted, and mashed
  • 1 Lime, juiced (can also buy lime juice from store)
  • 1 Teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup Diced onion
  • 1 White onion
  • 3 Tablespoons of chopped fresh cilantro
  • 2 Plum tomatoes, diced
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic (can buy pre-minced)
  • 1 pinch ground cayenne pepper or some diced jalapeno (if you like a little kick)
  • Chips, to serve
  • Black olives
  • Sour cream

Instructions:

  1. In a medium bowl, mash together the avocados, lime juice, and salt. Mix in onion, cilantro, tomatoes, jalapeno, and garlic. Stir in cayenne pepper. 
  2. Spoon guacamole onto a rectangle platter, using a flat edged scraper to shape into a rectangle.
  3. Place chips near the top of his head, with triangle tip pointing down.
  4. Add two dollops of sour cream for the whites of the eyes and top each with a sliced olive end piece (without the hole)
  5. For the mouth, push sliced olives with rounded edges facing up into the guacamole, shaping it like Frankenstein's mouth. Serve!

 Ingredients:
    • Chocolate sandwich cookies, divided
    • Pudding cups Chocolate Vanilla Pudding
    • Small candy pumpkins
    • Green decorating icing

Instructions:

  1. Carefully twist apart cookies; reserve cream halves. Crush plain halves and remaining cookies.
  2. Top pudding evenly with crushed cookies. Insert a cream half in one corner of each pudding cup for the moon.
  3. Place candy pumpkins and green icing to resemble vines on top of crushed cookies. Serve.

  • Halloween Snack Mix

    Perfect for the on-the-go eater, this snack mix is super simple to store and take wherever you need to go! You can also add whatever other sweet or savory bites of your choice to make this mix your own.

Ingredients:

  • 3 Cups Halloween Pretzels
  • 1 16 ounce Bag Candy Corn
  • 1 16 ounce Bag Candy Pumpkins
  • 16 ounce Can Salted Peanuts
  • 1 Family Size Bag of Halloween M&Ms

Instructions:

  1. Place all ingredients in a large bowl and toss to combine.
  2. Store leftovers in a freezer bag or Tupperware in the pantry.

Another healthier option, these Apple Monsters are absolutely delicious and offer an incredible sweet-savory combo!

Ingredients:

  • Apples of your choice
  • Peanut butter or nut butter of your choice (also could use Nutella, Sun butter, etc.)
  • Puffed rice cereal
  • Red grapes, each sliced vertically in half
  • Green grapes
  • Chocolate chips

Instructions:

  1. Cut the apple in quarters and remove the core. Then quarter each piece again until you have about 16 thin wedges per apple
  2. Spread 1 teaspoon of your chosen spread on each apple slice
  3. Lay half of the apple slices on top of the other halves, (matching up both sides with spread on it so the apple slices stick together) to create the mouth.
  4. Push puffed rice gently into the nut free butter, all around the mouth making little teeth.
  5. Place one red grape half in the center of each bottom slice to create the tongue.
  6. To create the eyes, slice the ends off the green grapes, then cut each grape in half horizontally. Using the tip of the knife, make a small slit in the top of each grape half, then place a chocolate chip into the slit you cut.
  7. Place two small dollops of spread on the portion of each mouth, then gently press a grape eye onto each dollop.
  8. Refrigerate or serve!
